Department has 3 sanctioned posts and 3 regular lecturers are working. All have Doctorate Degrees.

FACULTY ACHIEVEMENTS

Department of Telugu collaborated with Aswadana Sahiti Samiti since 2012 and encouraging youth to participate in literary activities and to develop interest in Telugu Literature. This organisation conducted literary activities in our college. Our Students participated in Literary activities conducted by Sahiti Samiti.

Department Lecturers participated as Resource persons and delivered lectures in different literary organisations at Kakinada.

All lecturers participated in National & International level seminars and workshops.

All lecturers have research motto and encourage students towards research and to participate in cultural & literary activities in Inter college and National Level.
- Dr.D.Krishna Gayatri, Dr.K.Syamaladevi and Dr.P.nagamallika received the appreciation award from Mythree Foundations, Kakinada on the eve of World Teacher’s day celebrations on 10th September 2024.

Dr. Nagamallika received Boi Bheemanna Memorial National Award in 2023 Literature

Dr. Nagamallika received Best Women award in Literature (District level) on 8th March 2024.
STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS

P.Nazma & N.Hemasri qualified National Eligibility Test in 2023.

P.Kusuma got 1st prize & P..Divya Kumari-I CBZ got consolation prozes in Inter College Essay Writing Competitions conducted by GDC Tadepalligudem and received cash price Rs.1116/-.

Ramalakshmi, V.Bhargavi andB.Gayatri received prizes 1st, 2nd and consolation in Poetry recitation, JAM and in other competitions conducted by PVR Trust Degree College on 21-02-2023.

6 numbers of Students participated in National Webinar conducted by GDC, Tuni.

10% of students opting Post Graduation and T.P.T. & B.Ed and every year 30 students participating in National Level Essay Writing participations conducted by Ramakrishnashramam.

20 Students participated competitions in Atmasakshatkara Shastram conducted by ISCON in 2023.

Our students are participating and getting 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prizes in Youth Programmes conducted by SETRAJ & Nehru Yuva Kendra.

A.Bangaru received 1st prize (Rs.500/- cash & Books) in Poetry Writing conducted by Addepalli Foundation, Kakinada in 2023.

B.Madhuri got 2nd (Rs.500/- cash & Books), T.Venkata Pooja and P.Sindhu got consolation (Rs.116/- & Books) conducted by Addepalli Foundation in Janapada Kavitha Visleshana on 08-09-2024.
