The College was conferred with ‘Autonomous’ status (fresh) in the academic year 2015-16 by UGC. The Autonomous status has been extended from 2020-21 to 2025-26. The College is embracing the advantages of autonomy to foster innovation and enable the independent design of its curriculum. In this framework, each Department has established its own Board of Studies, which includes subject experts from various Government and Aided Colleges, a nominee from Adikavi Nannaya University, an industry representative, an alumni member, students, and all faculty members of the department. The syllabus is regularly updated to align with advancements in the respective disciplines and to incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
With greater control over teaching methods and assessment processes, the college adopts best practices in pedagogy, assessment, and faculty development, leading to better academic outcomes and an enriched learning environment.
