• The Department offering UG programme B. Sc C.B.MB. with 30 intake of the students
• From 2024-25 academic year B.Sc Microbiology (Honours) is offerring by our department with 40 sanctioned strength
• The asset of the Department is its well equipped UG Laboratory attached with a sofisticated culture room.
• The Department is giving importance to the student centric & skill oriented programmes

VISION: “The Vision of the Department is to educate and train students in the discipline of Microbiology and to produce competent Microbiologists” and serve the Society by promoting science and its allied fields

MISSION: Our Mission is to provide fundamental knowledge in the field of Microbiology and research skill training for undergraduate who will choose research fields or professional career as Microbiologist to become future leaders in science, medicine, and industry

• To improve teaching learning process to excell students in their fields
• To motivate & make them ready for new challenges and demands in the world
• To achieve hundred percent placements for eligible candidates
• To organize more workshops and seminars on the recent advanced technologies and developments Microbiology and Life Sciences.
